Cyber threat report

Find out if your information is in a data breach.

When a company or website is breached, copies of its customer data get passed around online: emails, passwords, phone numbers, home addresses. Scammers use them to break into accounts and to make fake emails, texts and calls look real. We search known breach data for your email, your phone number, and your name at your home, show you what turned up in a plain report, and check again about once a month.

What we watch

What cyber threat report covers

  • Your email address

Every known breach that includes your email, and what else was in that record: a password, a username, your name or phone number.

  • Your phone number

Breach records that list your number under your name, or with no name attached.

  • Your name at your home

Records that pair your name, or the names on your deed, with your home address. That combination is what scammers need to pose as a homeowner.

  • New breaches

When a new breach turns up with your information in it, a person reviews it and we let you know which breach it was, what was exposed and what to do.

How it works

Where the data comes from

Sources
  • DeHashed, a search of data leaked in known breaches.
  • The email, phone and name on your account, the owners on your county title record, and your home address.
How often we check
Your first report is ready within a day of signing up. After that we search about once a month.
What an alert tells you
The name of the breach, which of your details it matched, what kinds of information it exposed (for example, a password), and the steps that make the leak harmless, like changing that password and turning on two-step sign-in.
A person reviews every alert
A person on our team reviews every alert before it reaches you. Then we contact you by email, text or phone — whichever you choose — and you acknowledge it in your portal.

What it can’t do

  • We search breaches that have been found and collected. A breach that hasn’t surfaced yet can’t be searched.
  • We show which kinds of information were exposed, never the leaked passwords themselves. We don’t store them.
  • Records at your address under someone else’s name, such as a previous owner, are left out of your report.
  • Your first report shows every breach we find, including old ones. Alerts are for breaches that turn up after that.
  • This tells you where your information has leaked. It can’t remove it, and it isn’t identity theft insurance.

Questions about cyber threat report

My email is in a breach. Should I worry?

Most people’s email is in at least one old breach. What matters is the password: if one that was exposed is one you still use anywhere, change it there and turn on two-step sign-in. Your report lists which breaches included a password so you know where to start.

What does this have to do with my home?

Scammers who target homeowners start with leaked data. A name, address and email are enough to send a convincing fake message about your mortgage, your property taxes or a closing. Knowing what’s out there helps you spot those messages, and keeps your email, the account most often used to reset everything else, locked down.

Do you see my passwords?

No. When a breach record includes a password, we note that a password was exposed and throw the value away. It never reaches our database, our staff or your report.

Does a person really review every alert?

Yes. Nothing is sent to you until someone on our team has looked at it. Routine changes that don’t need your attention are cleared, and the rest come with a plain-English note.

Can I buy this on its own?

Yes. Cyber Threat Report is $3 a month or $30 a year per property, on its own or added to any of our other services. It’s also included in the Ultimate package.

I already have an account. How do I add it?

Log in to your portal, open your property, and add it there. It’s billed on its own monthly or yearly subscription, which you can cancel anytime.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime. If you’re not happy in your first 30 days, we’ll refund you in full.
