What an alert tells you
That a change of address was filed for your name at your home, the date it took effect, whether it was filed for one person or the whole household, and the new address when there is one.
A person reviews every alert
A person on our team reviews every alert before it reaches you. Then we contact you by email, text or phone — whichever you choose — and you acknowledge it in your portal.

What it can’t do

  • This finds changes of address filed with the Postal Service. It can’t detect mail stolen from your mailbox.
  • We check the name on your account at your home, plus anyone you add in your portal (up to 6). A change filed for your whole household is included; a change filed only for someone you haven’t added is not.
  • If you file a change of address yourself — say, because you moved — you’ll get an alert for it. Just tell us it’s expected.
  • A change of address already on file when you sign up counts too: we tell you about it at the first check.

Questions about change of address monitoring

What should I do if a change of address I didn’t file shows up?

Contact your local post office to cancel it, and report it to the Postal Inspection Service. Then check your bank and credit accounts for anything you don’t recognize. We’ll walk you through it.

Can you check other people, or another address?

Yes. In your portal, add up to 6 people for each home — a spouse or other household member, or a name at a different address, such as a home you just moved from. Each one is included in every monthly check at no extra cost.

Does a person really review every alert?

Yes. Nothing is sent to you until someone on our team has looked at it. Routine changes that don’t need your attention are cleared, and the rest come with a plain-English note.

Can I buy this on its own?

Yes. Change of Address Monitoring is $3 a month or $30 a year per property, on its own or added to any of our other services. It’s also included in the Ultimate package.

I already have an account. How do I add it?

Log in to your portal, open your property, and add it there. It’s billed on its own monthly or yearly subscription, which you can cancel anytime.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime. If you’re not happy in your first 30 days, we’ll refund you in full.
